Upon meeting with Julie and Sam, I could not have been more whisked away with their adoring love for one another, and rooted ties of becoming a united family including the bride’s son, Alden. The bride, Julie, is a graphic designer and marketing administrator for the local State Attorney’s Bar Association. The groom, Sam, is a Marine Corps veteran, mechanic, and local brew craft enthusiast.
From the beginning, the couple desired to incorporate their uniqueness into the wedding in its entirety, which included an eclectic weaving of a modest, vintage elegance with the boldness of crisp, edgy metallics. The bride was definitely on-trend with her desire to incorporate pops of coral accents within the dainty mixture of ivory, navy, and blush. The couple’s love of local, crafted brews was a definite focal point, as an Albuquerque brewery site was their chosen event venue!
It was a true dream to be able to contribute to such a beautiful and meaningful union of two souls!
Wedding Ceremony location: Koinonia Church Gardens- A serene, lush, and lovely garden space, enhanced with a bubbling waterfall and autumnal colors which was the perfect setting for this September 2019 wedding!
An event venue to remember, the reception venue is actually the site which all of the in-house brews are crafted and bottled! Table aisles were nestled among enormous steel fermenters and stacks of kegs- it was an interesting space to imagine a reception to take place, but once the lighting dimmed to an intimate, glowing candlelight, the mixture of the floral decor, centerpieces (handcrafted by the couple), and the steel backdrops paired beautifully. it was true magic!
